Jazz Biscuit's turn this time in the Blogger-Dependent. Also Red Mum was ripped off by the Bleeding Herald last week. Look if any of you plago-journos are reading this, we're not here to do your fucking jobs for you, you lazy bunch of latte-swigging pricks. Sure we'll just call round to yours and help ourselves to your stuff while shoving your toothbrushes up our asses. You're only returning the favour.
Expect a deluge of invoices for twice the going rate to arrive on your editor's desk soon, with your name as a reference.
UPDATE: Simon McGarr has pointed out the chipped baby photo belongs to Daragh O'Toole.
UPDATE 2: I've just emailed the Independent seeking clarification on their policy regarding original material without credit or payment. If I pass out while holding my breath for reply will someone waft the smelling salts?
UPDATE 3: Now The Irish Times has ripped Jazz Biscuit off.
The Indo has removed the photos from its online edition linked above.
Now will they go around with scissors removing them from yesterday's print edition?
UPDATE 4: This is further discussed on

If you get any response to your query I'd be interested in seeing it.
Not to defend the Indo, but could it not just be a case of them noticing the same poster?
A while ago I thought the Tribune had ripped off my celeb magazine / Ziggy/Channelle photo til i realised it was just a shot of the same thing.
Granted it was exactly the same set up as mine...but alas, a different photo.
@ Red Mum, no written response but the pics are now down.
@Roosta, I think the fact the pics have been taken down speaks volumes, don't you? And there were a lot of Independent IPs visiting yesterday so they would have pointed out my error, bastions of truth that they are.
If they've taken it down, then ya, its probably the same pic.
I'd absolutely love one of them to rip me off, it'd be so desperate I'd piss myself laughing.
"My day stacking shelves 20 years ago by Brendan O'Connor"
I thought Brendan O'Connor was sacked and now sweeps the floors in Lidl?
time to start studing internet copyright issues me thinks. looks like the old media are going to try beat the new media by just stealing.
Jer, I think old media/new media is a false dichotomy. The new media is simply punching buttons on a computer, something the old media has been doing for years. Anyone with a computer and internet can read a blog and buy a paper, but there's fuck all reading in a blog without a computer. And there's so many blogs that while most will never get a readership there are no economic factors to swallow them up, whereas of a paper publication readers and therefore sales are the lifeblood. I think the problem with journos robbing a conceptual one: bloggers are some kind of robot that produces content for free. Either that or some of them are just cunts.
Wait some of them are definitely cunts.
